Week 4 Record
Week 4 predictions for @TheBrysh were 8/16, for a season tally of 34/63 or 54% on straight up wins. As the weeks progress, the numbers get dialed in and the predictions become even more accurate. THURSDAY NIGHT GAME
Indianapolis Colts @ Denver Broncos (-3.5) The Broncos have struggled offensively so far this season, but QB Russell Wilson will come through. Added with the home field advantage and elevation, I take the Broncos 21-20.
EARLY SUNDAY GAMES
NY Giants vs. Green Bay Packers(-8) The Giants and Packers are facing off in London, UK this weekend, neither team will have a home field advantage, and both can deal with jet lag. Packers QB Aaron Rogers says he will, “go to a pub and have a Guinness”, with that I say Packers 34-18. Pittsburgh Steelers @ Buffalo Bills(-14) This is the largest point spread the Steelers have faced since 1970. Maybe the Bills are a bit overrated, but I still pick them to win big, Bills 37-14. LA Chargers(-2.5) @ Cleveland Browns The Chargers are weak against the run, Browns RB Nick Chubb will come in with another 100+ yard rushing game. I’m going with an UPSET win for the Browns 29-27. Chicago Bears @ Minnesota Vikings(-7.5) Bears QB Justin Fields has been “trigger shy” this season, he’s facing off with a pass-heavy Minnesota QB Kirk Cousins and All-Pro targets Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. Look for the Vikings to take it 31-25. Detroit Lions @ New England Patriots(-3.5) The Lions look to be without the services of RB D’André Swift due to injuries. Defense will determine this one, with the Patriots having the edge and the victory 29-18. Seattle Seahawks @ New Orleans Saints(-6) New Orleans RB Alvin Kamara says he’s “going to be out there”, returning from a rib injury. The Saints will break their losing streak this week with a 20-16 win. Miami Dolphins(-3.5) @ NY Jets The Dolphins will be without starting QB Tua Tagovailoa, but the Jets will still be without a capable roster. Miami has too many facets for the Jets, 34-26 Dolphins. Atlanta Falcons @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers(-9.5) Bucc’s QB Tom Brady got roughed up last week against the Chiefs, but says “I’ll be there on Sunday. Both of Tampa’s WR’s Julio Jones and Chris Godwin are ready for action, Buccaneers win 36-23. Tennessee Titans(-1.5) @ Washington Commanders Somebody out there is very generous with the Commanders to only quote a 1.5 point spread in this game. The Titans defense will give QB Carson Wentz nightmares and allow Tennessee the victory 25-18. Houston Texans @ Jacksonville Jaguars(-7) Jacksonville QB Trevor Lawrence has taken a giant leap in performance this season over last. I look for the Jaguars to take this one 31-23.
LATE SUNDAY GAMES
San Francisco 49’ers(-6.5) @ Carolina Panthers 49’ers DE Nick Bosa sacked Panthers QB Baker Mayfield twice the last time they met. The Niner’s won that game 31-3, they’ll win this one 30-22. Dallas Cowboys @ LA Rams(-5.5) The 5.5 point spread favoring the Rams is concerning as their offense is unstable. I look for the defensively sound Cowboys to control the game and pick up an UPSET 29-24. Philadelphia Eagles(-5) @ Arizona Cardinals This is @TheBrysh pick for game of the week, these are arguably the 2 best rosters in the NFC. The Cardinals will give them a good game, but I will go with the Eagles 27-26. Cincinnati Bengals @ Baltimore Ravens(-3) The big question in this game is whether the Ravens can apply enough pressure to Cincy’s QB Joe Burrow. If Burrow has to scramble, the Ravens will control the momentum and win it 33-28.
MONDAY NIGHT GAME
Las Vegas Raiders @ Kansas City Chiefs(-7) Playing a road game at Arrowhead Stadium is hard enough, not to mention when you are an overrated squad like the “Silver and Black”. QB Patrick Mahomes and his Chiefs will run through the Raiders 39-24.
