The National Arena League season has been a lot of things… and most of all, it has been absolutely unpredictable. Week 12 only reminded us of that. Who could have seen this hard a fall from grace as the Bandits did? Or Omaha and their last-second heroics coming? Not us! And we cover it all in this week's NAL review!
After a wild week of Pro versus developmental thrashings and a somewhat needed break, we get another weekend of elevated against established. AAL Week 4 can only be described for what it was, a blowout. We had two league-on-league games that ended with an absolute throttling for both home teams. It is something you never want to see, but it is a part of the game. While the AAL and its members build into what we all know it can be, we will see growing pains like the atrocities we witnessed last weekend. This was quite possibly the worst weekend of football for three teams we have seen all season. We all saw the obvious mismatches, but nothing could have prepared us for the absolute beatings that came with them. Week Nine in the National Arena League was somewhat of a weekend of decisions. Not mental, but more of teams collectively deciding where they wanted the rest of their seasons to go.
