Dioh Desuah is a native of Newark, New Jersey who played his high school football at North Star Academic Charter. Standing 6’1 250 pounds he had played both offensive and defensive line in high school, also seeing time on the hardwood. He would settle in at the defensive end early on.

Dioh Desuah Attends Seton Hill
After high school, he ended up attending Seton Hill University only about a five-hour drive from Newark.
Arriving at Seton Hill Dioh Desuah would find immediate playing time appearing in 10 games his freshman year in 2019. He managed 19 tackles with 2.5 for a loss. With the 2020 season cancelled it was not until 2021 that he would see the field.
He took his craft seriously and by this point had added about 30 pounds since high school. Earning a larger role for 2021 he would see more playing time and set career highs. Playing in just 1 more game he had a much larger impact by logging 27 tackles, 8 for a loss, 5 sacks, and 1 forced fumble.
In 2022 he came back for season three and dealt with some injuries that limited his effectiveness on the field. His production dipped slightly but he still managed 24 tackles, 7 for a loss and 2.5 sacks, he added 1 pass deflection and 1 forced fumble.
Dioh Desuah returned for a sixth year and fifth season on the field in 2023. This ended up being his most productive season. Playing in 11 games again he had a career-high 39 tackles, including 14 for a loss, and tied a career high in sacks with 5. During college he was named second team D2CCA All Super Region 1.

Dioh Desuah Transitions to the Professional Ranks
Making it to the NFL immediately after college was a long shot, especially as a 6’1 295 295-pound defensive tackle being he is perceived as undersized. To his credit, Dioh Desuah knew his path to the highest levels would not come easily and this led him to showcase himself at the National Scouting Combine.
NSC Test Results

NSC is known for sending players to the NFL, CFL, UFL, and various indoor and overseas leagues. Dioh Desuah became the latest in a long line of NSC players to sign professional contracts inking a deal with the Wheeling Miners for his rookie season.
In 2024 he played his rookie year with the AAL2 Champion Wheeling Miners led by Coach Joshua Resignaldo. During his first season, he managed 26 tackles, 9 sacks, and 1 forced fumble. The team steamrolled opponents in 2024 going undefeated on their way to a championship win. Dioh Desuah was disruptive en route to a championship victory logging a sack in the big game. He was named second-team All-AAL2 after his rookie season.
What Does the Tape Say?
Dioh Desuah may be seen as undersized height but he does a solid job of playing with good leverage. He is strong and can stand up opposing linemen and push them back collapsing the pocket. He has a fairly quick first step and a dangerous dip move where he gets low and slides past a tackle’s reach into a quarterback’s face. He has dedicated himself to playing the interior and played the 2024 season at 295 pounds.
Desuah is a young, and hungry player who proved he could play at a high level in his rookie season. Producing a total of 21.5 sacks since 2019, Dioh Desuah is a guy who should intrigue many teams due to his scheme versatility. In three-man fronts Desuah still has the mobility to line up as a defensive end, and in four-man fronts, he can lineup inside as a defensive tackle. This will help him find his way outdoors, especially with the production he has found early in his professional career. He can push the pocket, and create havoc in the pro’s, now we just await hearing where he will land for 2025.
