After a fast-paced and action-packed weekend of indoor football, we have our winners from NAL Week 2, and IFL Week 1. and after the first installment of our alternative football betting guide, we had some winners. We had some losers, so we will take a look back at last week and recap the bets we told you were worth putting your money on.

NAL Bets in Week 2
Big Risks
Pueblo +155
Amarillo +120
Pueblo went into Omaha and came away with the win, proving that +155 to have been a good bet. For those of you out there who took that risk congratulations.
Amarillo on the other hand came out on turf that looked brand new and got punched in the mouth by a Sioux City Bandits team that was just better in every facet of the game. Amarillo was however playing its first regular-season game as a franchise in 2026 while Sioux City and Coach Strohbeen have been doing this for decades.
Safe and Profitable
Southwest Kansas Storm +110
The odds makers just plain missed on this one and the majority of the Indoor and Arena Football community knew it once they saw the odds come out. Southwest Kansas was the better team, this game ended a lot closer than the majority of people “in the know” thought it would. Regardless there was little doubt the Storm would come out on top, and although they came out fairly flat, they gathered it up and won the game. Two weeks, two tough losses for Louisiana.
Sioux City -205
Although we brought up Amarillo as a risky bet you could make, we also pointed out that Sioux City was likely going to be the victor. As mentioned before the group in Sioux City is as seasoned as they come, and the early injury to Amarillo’s quarterback did not do them any favors. as mentioned before the group in Sioux City is as seasoned as they come, and the early injury to Amarillo’s quarterback did not do them any favors.
In the Indoor Football League, we recommended betting on Quad City and Vegas. Face meet palm. Unfortunately, these bets were made without the benefit of knowing the lines, we would have recommended that you put money on Fisher’s Freight to cover the spread. +8.5 was way too high and again most of us who follow the Indoor game closely thought that this game would be a lot closer, and most had Quad City winning in a close game. Fishers not only covered the spread, but they won the game by more than the spread.
With this in mind let’s try for a more successful week heading into week 3 of the NAL, and week 2 of the IFL. Also if you are a UFL fan we will have you covered coming up in next week’s installment of this article just in time for the season kick off. As with last week, we will start with the league furthest along in their season and end with the league that started the latest.

Lines weren’t available in time to include them in this article, but we projected our own:
Omaha (-3.5) at Salina
This is the first league game of the season for Salina, coming off a typical beating of a non-league opponent. On the other end, you have redemption-seeking Omaha that lost a home opener for the first time since 2021. While we haven’t seen a ton of Salina coach Oneal, he should have his typical downhill style squad ready for the Beef. We can’t forget this is a rivalry renewed from the early CIF days.
There are a variety of reasons to favor, the biggest of which is Roster. Omaha retooled after the abysmal season opener that saw less than 100 total offensive yards. They get back their starting QB Demry Croft, paired with a couple of solid post-loss signings. Coach Negron isn’t used to losing and we would hammer the over. Salina looks like a sure-fire playoff team, but we aren’t fully confident that they have what it takes to take down Indoor Ball’s oldest franchise.
It’s said you have to win all three sides of the game, and if the offense is as clean as we expect, the scale tipper is without question Omaha’s Special Teams, Otis Odom is an absolute weapon on kick returns, if he has another day returning as he did against the Punishers, it may be what leans things the Beefs way
Take: Omaha Beef Over 3.5
Dallas @ Pueblo (-31.5)
This Battle of expansion teams won’t be much of a show. One comes in as the hottest team in all of indoor football, soundly beating two 2025 NAL Playoff teams. The other comes in after getting blasted by Colorado. Dallas, on any side of the ball doesn’t have the type of athlete that even compares to Peublo. Aaron Dilworth comes into this game with four TDs to his name, and if he isn’t pulled could very easily double that against the Bulls.
It’s hard not to take the Punishers and the points, but we wouldn’t. Trash time scores will very much be a thing in the fourth, if not the third quarter, and could pull this one just close enough to hit the under. Overall, this will be a tune-up game for an already lethal squad
Take Dallas +35.5

Fishers at Green Bay
There is one bet this week that stands above all others as worth throwing some money at simply due to the odds and circumstances. Green Bay heads into week 2 1-0 hosting fellow 1-0 team Fishers Freight. Despite coming off a win over the reigning IFL Champions, and hosting this game Green Bay has +114 odds.
I personally put one of my larger bets on those odds.
Unders Look Promising
Two more games struck me as ones to watch for the under; the Masslando Pirates travel to New Mexico to take on the Chupacabras at Tingley Coliseum. The Pirates may have relocated, but they have to be the favorite in this game, and the oddsmakers agree.
However, this is the first game for both teams this season, and the under is set at 78.5. New Mexico’s offensive coordinator will be calling plays for the first time at the IFL level, and historically the Pirates tend to start slow. Last season the Pirates scored a combined 58 points in their first two games. Betting the under in this game seems like a safe bet.
The other game I took the under in was the Iowa Barnstormers vs. the Quad City Steamwheelers. This is another game where you have a perennial playoff contender taking on a team that has had a rough stretch without much success. Quad City is nursing its wounds coming out of a loss to Fisher Freight, and falling to Iowa would put them at an early disadvantage.
Iowa has a whole new staff, and its roster has more or less been rebuilt top to bottom in Andre Coles’ image. However Quad City managed just 27 points in week 1, and much like the Pirates, they failed to top 40 points until their third game in 2025. We could be in for a low-scoring affair in this one. With the under set at -81.5, it seems to be a worthwhile bet.
Just for fun:
Just for fun and at the suggestion of Off the Wall last week I parlayed all four unders this week. At +1228 odds a $1 bet will result in over $13 coming back. This was one of those flyers you throw a small amount at and hope you get lucky. I would not recommend betting the house.
