By Cedric “The Bus Driver” Green

Another Sunday, Another Stop at The Bus Stop.
One of my goals this season is to make these Bus Stop articles feel less like game recaps and more like an extension of what happens every Sunday morning on The Bus Stop LIVE.
If you’ve watched the show, you already know we’re not just talking football. We’re making picks, debating storylines, handing out Bus Driver Wagers, talking Broncos football, reviewing music, and occasionally finding ourselves in conversations nobody expected when the show started. My hope is to bring that same energy, personality, and conversation into these articles so readers can experience a little bit of what makes The Bus Stop what it is.
Before we get into Week 3, I want to clear up a little confusion that may come up when looking at our standings and picks.
Cedric “The Bus Driver” Green and Gemini are one and the same.
When you see Gemini listed in our standings, those picks represent my selections as part of the show. However, you’ll also hear references to the “Bus Drivers.” That’s because many of the picks and discussions also reflect feedback, conversations, and opinions from members of the Bus Stop community who ride with us every week.
At the end of the day, whether you call me Cedric, The Bus Driver, or Gemini, you’re talking about the same person sitting behind the wheel of The Bus Stop.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way…
After a full slate of games, confidence picks, Bus Driver Wagers, bold predictions, and enough trash talk to fill a locker room, Week 3 gave us something none of us expected:
Nobody gained ground.
For a show built on competition and bragging rights, that’s about as rare as it gets.
After all 16 games were played and every receipt was handed out, Reem, Gemini, and Statik all finished the week at exactly 8-8.
Sometimes the NFL humbles everybody.
Week 3 Records
- Reem: 8-8
- Gemini: 8-8
- Statik: 8-8
A three-way tie. 😦
Every member of the crew had some impressive calls and some misses they’d probably like to have back. In the end, nobody separated from the pack and nobody lost ground.
As we joked after the games wrapped up:
“We spent all that time arguing just to go 8-8.”
That’s football.

Season Standings
One note before looking at the standings.
The Bills-Lions game in Week 2 never officially made it onto our pick sheet, so it was recorded as a push for everybody.
Season Standings After Week 3
🥇 Reem (26-20-1)
🥈 Gemini “The Bus Driver” (23-23-1)
🥉 Statik (21-25-1)
Reem remains in control of first place.
Gemini has climbed all the way back from a rough opening week and is now one strong Sunday away from moving over .500 for the season.
Statik remains within striking distance and knows one breakout week could completely change the standings.
With plenty of football left to play, nobody is comfortable yet.

Biggest Week 3 Surprises
Falcons Shock the Packers
One of the biggest conversations on this week’s show wasn’t just Atlanta’s win, it was what the result actually means moving forward.
The Falcons walked into Lambeau Field and left with a convincing 35-14 victory, fueled by explosive performances from Bijan Robinson and Drake London. While Atlanta deserves plenty of credit, the crew spent just as much time discussing Green Bay’s struggles.
Was this a sign that the Falcons are becoming a legitimate contender, or are the Packers simply not as good as many people believed?
The debate centered around Green Bay’s inability to establish a consistent running game, uneven quarterback play, and a defense that failed to come up with stops when momentum started swinging in Atlanta’s favor.
By the end of the conversation, one thing was clear: Atlanta earned respect, but questions surrounding the Packers may be the bigger story coming out of Week 3.
Browns Cool Off Panthers
After dominating Atlanta a week earlier, the Panthers entered Week 3 feeling good about themselves.
Cleveland quickly reminded everyone that momentum only lasts until kickoff.
The Browns escaped with a hard-fought 21-18 victory and slowed down one of the league’s hottest teams.
Steelers Win a Rivalry Battle
The Steelers and Bengals delivered one of the best games of the week.
Aaron Rodgers and Pittsburgh found a way to hold off Joe Burrow and Cincinnati, pulling out a 30-27 win that had playoff intensity from start to finish.
Bears Stun the Eagles
This may have been the biggest surprise of the weekend.
Chicago dominated Philadelphia 27-7, forcing turnovers and controlling the game from start to finish, More importantly they did so without Caleb Williams while starting Case Keenum. If that doesn’t tell you how good the Bears are this season, nothing will.
The Bears continue to be one of the NFL’s most surprising stories through three weeks.
Raiders Keep Rolling
At some point, the Raiders stop being a surprise.
Las Vegas improved to 3-0 with another impressive victory, and the list of doubters is getting smaller every week.

Mile High Check-In
Broncos Country Has Reasons to Believe
No Bus Stop article would be complete without talking Broncos football.
Denver improved to 2-1 by rallying from a 16-0 halftime deficit to beat the Rams 30-26 on Sunday Night Football.
More importantly, they’re surviving one of the toughest opening stretches in the NFL.
The first six games of Denver’s season feature playoff-caliber opponents nearly every week:
- Chiefs
- Jaguars
- Rams
- 49ers
- Chargers
- Seahawks
Getting through the first half of that stretch at 2-1 matters.
Why Broncos Country Should Be Encouraged
✅ The Broncos keep finding ways to win.
✅ Denver is collecting victories, not moral victories.
✅ The defense continues making game-changing plays.
✅ Bo Nix delivered when the moment was biggest.
✅ Confidence continues to grow every week.
The best teams in football don’t always play perfect football.
They simply find ways to win.
Denver is beginning to show signs of that.
Why Broncos Fans Are Still Cautious
❌ The margin for error remains thin.
❌ The offense still has another level to reach.
❌ Bigger challenges are still ahead.
The Broncos don’t need style points right now.
They need wins.
And so far, they’re getting them.
The Bus Stop Question
Are the Broncos legitimate playoff contenders, or are they still proving themselves?
That’s a debate Broncos Country will continue having every week.
One thing is certain:
Winning cures a lot of problems.

Still searching for consistency.

🎙️ Bus Stop Banter
Not every stop is strictly football.
Part of what makes The Bus Stop different is that the conversation can go anywhere.
This week the crew bounced from NFL analysis to Cowboys jokes, UFL relegation proposals, wrestling legends, UFC talk, NBA fandom, and somehow found time to debate Arby’s before the show wrapped up.
If you’ve never watched The Bus Stop before, that’s kind of the point.
It’s football.
It’s hip-hop.
It’s sports culture.
And occasionally it’s a completely random conversation that somehow becomes the funniest part of the show.
In other words:
Just another Sunday at The Bus Stop.

🎵 Statik’s Stamp: Gas or Trash?
No Bus Stop episode is complete without checking in on the latest music releases.
This week’s edition of Statik‘s Stamp produced plenty of debate as the crew reviewed new projects and singles from across the hip-hop and R&B landscape.
🔥 GAS
Kaytranada & Leon Bridges
The collaboration earned strong reviews from the panel and was one of the most praised projects discussed during the show. Smooth production, strong replay value, and a unique sound made this one an easy recommendation.
🎧 Worth Another Listen
Tee Grizzley
The crew saw potential here, with several tracks standing out even if there wasn’t complete agreement on the overall project.
🗑️ TRASH
DDG (according to most of the panel)
While not everyone completely wrote it off, this project received the most criticism during the discussion. Gemini found a track worth revisiting, but overall the crew wasn’t buying what was being sold.
The Bus Stop Question
What are you listening to right now?
What’s GAS?
What’s TRASH?
And what project deserves a future Statik’s Stamp review?

🏈 Looking Ahead to Week 4
Week 3 ended in a stalemate.
That means Week 4 becomes even more important.
Reem is defending first place.
Gemini is trying to climb over .500.
Statik is looking to make a move up the standings.
✅ Consensus Picks
The crew agrees on:
- Steelers over Browns
- Colts over Commanders
- Bills over Patriots
- Bengals over Jaguars
- Texans over Cowboys
- Seahawks over Chargers
- Broncos over 49ers
- Chiefs over Raiders
- Saints over Falcons
👀 Split Decision Games
Rams vs Eagles
- Statik: Eagles
- Reem: Rams
- Bus Drivers: Rams
Jets vs Bears
- Statik: Tie
- Reem: Bears
- Bus Drivers: Bears
Packers vs Buccaneers
- Statik: Buccaneers
- Reem: Packers
- Bus Drivers: Buccaneers
Titans vs Ravens
- Statik: Ravens
- Reem: Ravens
- Bus Drivers: Titans
Cardinals vs Giants
- Statik: Giants
- Reem: Cardinals
- Bus Drivers: Cardinals
Dolphins vs Vikings
- Statik: Vikings
- Reem: Vikings
- Bus Drivers: Dolphins
Lions vs Panthers
- Statik: Panthers
- Reem: Lions
- Bus Drivers: Lions
Broncos Watch
One thing rarely happens at The Bus Stop:
Everybody agrees.
Yet when the Week 4 picks were submitted, Statik, Reem, and the Bus Drivers all landed on the same side.
The Denver Broncos.
For a group that spends every Sunday debating everything from playoff contenders to Gas or Trash selections, unanimous agreement is almost unheard of.
Denver’s comeback victory over the Rams only added to the growing confidence surrounding this team. The Broncos continue finding ways to win, continue proving doubters wrong, and continue stacking victories during one of the toughest stretches of their schedule.
Now comes another major test.
Can Denver back up the hype against San Francisco, or will the 49ers remind everyone how difficult life in the NFL can be?
Broncos Country is about to find out.
