We saw Columbus set the league high for scoring and a wheeling pitch a 71-point shutout. It was an absolutely insane weekend of arena football! As far as the American Arena League goes, this was a quiet week; only a single AAL game was played due to the issues with the Wesbanco and the Wheeling Nailers hockey game. As we wind down into the final three weeks, the games will get more intense, especially considering the Battle for those coveted top two sports! Everything AAL Week 7

After a wild week of Pro versus developmental thrashings and a somewhat needed break, we get another weekend of elevated against established. Considering that all four have had weeks to regroup and come together as teams, we are certain this round will be much closer! AAL Week 4 can only be described for what it was, a blowout. We had two league-on-league games that ended with an absolute throttling for both home teams. It is something you never want to see, but it is a part of the game. While the AAL and its members build into what we all know it can be, we will see growing pains like the atrocities we witnessed last weekend.
