I took a few minutes to discuss a guy I would like the Eagles to target to compete with incumbent punter Arryn Siposs. Siposs shanked two very key punts late in the season including one against the Buccaneers in the wild card game. My suggestion for a replacement is Andy Lee an 18 year veteran who holds a career average of 46.9 yards, a full 3 yards over the 1 year total of 43.9 Siposs posted. Lee managed to average 49 yards per punt in 2021 on just 51 punts, with just 4 more punts Siposs managed 84 less total yards than Lee did. The Eagles made a mistake letting Cameron Johnston go last season and it’s time they rectify that by bringing in Lee who sits 3rd all time in punt yardage for a reason.
