CeDarius Rookard is a classic case of slipping through the cracks in the NFL scouting system. Having attended Troy University, Rookard intercepted ten passes during his 4 season career. His senior season service as the cherry on top when he had a stellar season intercepting 5 passes, and returning a punt 40+ yards for a touchdown.
In 2022 he played for the Tri City Rush of the AWFC and dominated at the Joker Linebacker Position. Given the ability to be used as a pass rusher, run defender, and in coverage Rookard showed he belongs in the outdoor game whether it’s in the NFL, CFL, USFL, or XFL I expect to see him there by the end of the 2023 calendar year.
