Ottawa Redblacks @ Hamilton Tiger-Cats(-5.5)

For the 4-12 Ottawa Redblacks, Week 20 is a must-win situation if they want to keep their slim playoff hopes alive. The 6-10 Hamilton Tiger-Cats are hosting Ottawa this week at TD Place, The Cat’s still have a chance of catching Montreal in the win category. These teams met in Week 6 with Hamilton taking the game by 2 points. Ottawa obviously has more to gain from a win, but Hamilton is on a winning streak and should take this one 28-20.

BC LIONS(-8.5) @ EDMONTON ELKS

The 11-5 BC Lions are looking to clinch a home field playoff game with a win this week in Edmonton. The 4-13 Elks will host BC at Commonwealth Stadium, where this hapless team hasn’t won a game since October, 2019. After pulling off an upset win over the power-house Blue Bombers last week, BC looks capable of beating anyone. The offensive push of the Lions is too much for the defensively anemic Elks and head coach Chris Jones is working on his excuses already, BC Lions win big, 37-25.

TORONTO ARGONAUTS(-1.5) @ MONTREAL ALOUETTES

Both of these teams have already secured their post-season tickets, what is left to be decided is the home field situations. In Week 2 these teams met with Toronto coming out with a slim 20-19 victory. This week the 8-8 Montreal Alouettes host a 10-6 Argo’s team that is riding a 2 game winning streak. Look for Toronto RB AJ Ouellette to have another big game, allowing his team to establish time of possession and an inevitable 35-26 win.

CALGARY STAMPEDERS(-6.5) @ SASKATCHEWAN ROUGHRIDERS

While the 6-10 Roughriders were enjoying a bye-week, The Tiger-Cats pulled off a come from behind win over the heavily favoured Calgary Stampeders. This turn of events was disastrous to the Riders, whose only chance at the playoffs is a cross-over spot if they can overtake Hamilton in the win column. This will not be an easy task against a robust Stamps offense that averages 31 points per game, while Saskatchewan gives up almost 26 per game. A Stampeders 30-18 win will leave the Riders with the slimmest of chances at a playoff berth.
