WEEK 3: RECAP

@TheBrysh Power Rankings (PR's) are calculated using a proprietary algorithm, @TheBrysh Power Rankings are also used to calculate weekly predictions.

SATURDAY GAMES

Houston Roughnecks(-7.5) @ Orlando Guardians The Houston Roughnecks are off to a blazing start this season, leading the league both in scoring and in points allowed per game. The extreme opposite of Houston’s initial surge, is the appalling start that the Guardians have amassed, coming in a definitive 8th in both scoring and in points allowed per game. It should come as no surprise that @TheBrysh is looking for a strong 25-17 victory for the Roughnecks, capped off by a 3 TD pass evening for QB Brandon Silvers.

San Antonio Brahmas @ Seattle Sea Dragons(-3) Both of these teams bring in a record of 1-2, and ranked a mediocre 4th and 6th in the Power Rankings for the Brahmas and Sea Dragons respectively. Although the Brahmas are arguably the stronger roster between the two teams, the game will be decided by the match up of San Antonio’s pitiful passing game that averages only 133 yards per game, and Seattle QB Ben DiNucci with 855 yards alone so far. Brahma’s HC Hines Ward is confident, but @TheBrysh is calling for the Sea Dragons to push past San Antonio’s defence for a 24-22 win.

SUNDAY GAMES

Arlington Renegades @ St. Louis Battlehawks(-4) The Renegades and Battlehawks have both slid down in the Power Rankings this week, to 5th and 2nd respectively, one of these teams will walk away with their third win of the season in Week 4. Orlando looks to pick up their offensive output with the recent play of QB Kyle Sloter, will his performance continue and lead the Renegades over the ‘Hawks? St. Louis showed flashes of brilliance last week, but inopportune turnovers stifled them, they will be redeemed by a 25-22 win this week.

Vegas Vipers @ D.C. Defenders(-5) This is another mismatch with the 0-3 Vipers visiting the 3-0 Defenders, DC outguns Vegas in almost every measurable evaluation and the end looks predictable. Vegas does have some potential for a breakaway performance with QB Brett Hundley at the helm, especially if DC lays off the gas early. If the Defenders defence has trouble with the Vipers, look for DC’s running game to make way for QB Jordan Ta’amu to shine in a 27-19 Defenders victory.
