Welcome back XFL Fans! Week 7 of the 2023 season is behind us, and it’s time to calculate the XFL Predictions for Week 8. @TheBrysh Power Rankings (PR’s) are calculated using a proprietary algorithm, @TheBrysh Power Rankings are also used to calculate weekly predictions. Week 7 predictions for @TheBrysh were an embarrassing 0/4, for a season total of 16/28 or 57% on straight up wins. As the weeks progress, the numbers get dialled in and the predictions become even more accurate. Point spreads are courtesy of The VSiN Network and are accurate at the time of writing.
WEEK 7: RECAP

SATURDAY GAMES
Vegas Vipers @ St. Louis Battlehawks(-4) Last week the Vegas Vipers showed a glimmer of hope and offensive potential in a convincing win 26-12 over the Brahmas. Vipers QB Jalan McClendon had a great game and will look to carry that momentum, but St. Louis will be too much too overcome. The Battlehawks defence has only allowed 15 points per game, in the last few weeks, and will disrupt the Vipers for an easy Battlehawks win 33-17.

Arlington Renegades(-2) @ Orlando Guardians The Renegades offence has been struggling to put points on the board all season, but the Guardians defence has given up over 31 points per game. Forget about the anomaly of last week’s win over the Defenders, Orlando is still the weakest team in the XFL, and Week 8 will see them return to their losing ways. If you have to miss one game this week, @TheBrysh advises that this one is the sleeper, look for a 19-17 win for the Renegades.

SUNDAY GAMES
Houston Roughnecks(-4) @ San Antonio Brahmas The Brahmas’ offence has been laughable this year, struggling with 16 points per game, and an inability to convert on 3rd down. Houston has lost 3 games in a row now, no thanks to injury claiming QB Brandon Silvers from their roster. Hopefully Silvers will be back in the line up on Saturday, which should give the Roughnecks the edge, and a 25-22 victory over the Brahmas.

DC Defenders(-2) @ Seattle Sea Dragons @TheBrysh is firmly anticipating the “Battle in Seattle” to be the “don’t miss” game of the week, in front of 30,000 Dragons fans! Don’t let the Defenders’ startling loss to the hapless Guardians distract you, DC is still a top 3 team in the XFL. Seattle will play on a Defenders squad that allowed Orlando to pass at will, allowing an 80% completion rate. With a questionable DC defence and the crowd support of 30K fans at home, @TheBrysh is calling for an UPSET, Sea Dragons 27-26.
