Byron Cooper currently plays or has played every position on the defensive side of the ball outside of maybe nose tackle. Just in his time for the Duke City Gladiators he has played safety, linebacker, and defensive end. During the 2022 IFL season he managed 71 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, 8 sacks, 3 pass break ups, 3 qb hits, 3 forced fumbles, 2 recoveries, and 1 safety in just 14 games. Everywhere the ball was, Cooper wasn’t far behind. Cooper is one of those rare players that can do it all despite playing at just 6’0 200 lbs.
