Welcome back XFL Fans! Week 5 of the 2023 season is behind us, and it’s time to calculate the XFL Predictions for Week 6. @TheBrysh Power Rankings (PR’s) are calculated using a proprietary algorithm, @TheBrysh Power Rankings are also used to calculate weekly predictions. Week 1 predictions for @TheBrysh were an embarrassing 1/4, for a season total of 13/20 or 65% on straight up wins. As the weeks progress, the numbers get dialled in and the predictions become even more accurate. Point spreads are courtesy of The VSiN Network and are accurate at the time of writing.
WEEK 5 RECAP

SATURDAY GAMES
Seattle Sea Dragons(-7) @ Orlando Guardians The “biggliest” question on all American minds this week isn’t whether or not Ex-President Donald Trump will be indicted, but whether or not the Guardians will remain winless. Seattle pulled off a surprise upset over the Houston Roughnecks last week, the Sea Dragons rode a 15 point lead to a convincing 21-14 win. Orlando is confirmed to have the weakest defence in the league giving up 30+ points per game, which should give Seattle a comfortable 22-16 win.
St. Louis Battlehawks(-4) @ Vegas Vipers Last week, the Vegas Vipers pulled off their first win of the season, albeit against the pathetic Orlando Guardians 35-32. This win shows some promise for the Vipers, in the form of a balanced offense and defensive potential, but not enough to pull them out of the XFL cellar. The Battlehawks, led by QB AJ McCarron, should have no problem cruising past the Vipers in a 26-20 victory on the road in Vegas.

SUNDAY GAME
San Antonio Brahmas(-3.5) @ Arlington Renegades Here is a matchup that is sure to disappoint the fans, two teams that have not stood out in any offensive OR defensive display this season. @TheBrysh predicts that this will be an exhibition of errors, turnovers and offensive ineptness for both the Brahmas and the Renegades. The Over/Under for this game was set at an amusing 33, surpassing that measurable will be the only reward in this game, I’ll go with an UPSET, Renegades to win 25-21.

MONDAY NIGHT GAME
Houston Roughnecks @ DC Defenders(-3) Finally, the game that we have been waiting for, the undefeated Defenders are hosting the powerhouse Roughnecks in the Nation’s Capital. These are two teams with incredible offenses, both posting an average of 27+ points per game so far this year. The big questions in this game will be if DC’s dominant running game will take them over the edge, or if the ravenous Houston defence commands the outcome, the safe bet for @TheBrysh is Defenders 29-27.
