Welcome back XFL Fans! Week 9 of the 2023 season is behind us, and it’s time to calculate the XFL Predictions for Week 10. @TheBrysh Power Rankings (PR’s) are calculated using a proprietary algorithm, @TheBrysh Power Rankings are also used to calculate weekly predictions. Week 9 predictions for @TheBrysh were 3/4, for a season total of 22/36 or 61% on straight up wins. As the weeks progress, the numbers get dialled in and the predictions become even more accurate. Point spreads are courtesy of The VSiN Network and are accurate at the time of writing.
This is the final week of the XFL regular season, and 4 teams are still in the running for the 2 remaining playoff berths. The DC Defenders and Houston Roughnecks have already clinched the North and South Divisions respectively, while the Guardians and Vipers are eliminated. Each matchup this week bears some importance to the resulting playoff picture, so don’t miss a single game.
WEEK 9: RECAP

SATURDAY GAMES
Orlando Guardians @ St. Louis Battlehawks(-7) The mighty Battlehawks were taken down a notch last week, in an embarrassing 18 point loss to the Sea Dragons, which saw them fail to clinch a playoff spot. The ‘Hawks passing game let everyone down last week, but against a porous Orlando defence, @TheBrysh expects to see St. Louis take it to the next level. The Guardians have nothing to win, and nothing to lose, look for them to play inferior personnel in a 27-14 loss to the Battlehawks.

DC Defenders(-3) @ San Antonio Brahmas With the top spot in the North Division locked up, the Defenders have the luxury of digging deep into their roster to spread game time around lavishly. The Brahmas, on the other hand, are still mathematically playoff alive, but with an offensive squad that scores less than 16 points per game @TheBrysh doesn’t give them much chance. The safe wager in this game is for DC to take an early lead and coast to a 25-21 Defenders win.

SUNDAY GAMES
Houston Roughnecks @ Arlington Renegades(-1) The other team in the XFL with a top Division spot clinched, are the Houston Roughnecks, but don’t look for them to underestimate Arlington. The Renegades need a win this week and will leave everything on the field, hoping for another all-star performance from QB Luis Perez. The oddsmakers have identified the win-desperate Renegades as a 1 point favourite, but @TheBrysh is calling for an UPSET win, 25-23, for the Roughnecks.

Vegas Vipers @ Seattle Sea Dragons(-8) Another team with nothing to win, are the 2-7 Vegas Vipers, who looked decent last week, when QB Jalan McClendon came close to leading his team past the Defenders. Seattle is in a must-win situation, and QB Ben DiNucci will be aiming to air the ball out against a weak Vipers defence that allows almost 25 points per game. This game looks like a mismatch on paper, and @TheBrysh says that the actual score will mirror that mismatch, Sea Dragons win easily, 30-18.
