XFL WEEK 10: RECAP
The XFL 2023 regular season is finally completed and the final playoff picture is complete, with the Houston Roughnecks hosting the Arlington Renegades in the South, and the Seattle Sea Dragons travelling to meet the DC Defenders in the North. You may be asking, “Why is a 4-6 Renegades squad in the playoffs, but the 7-3 Battlehawks are on the golf course?”. Take up a petition to lobby for a “Cross-Over” playoff berth for lopsided Divisions, if you think it can’t be done, the CFL has been doing it for almost 30 years, How the Crossover Works – CFL.ca

SOUTH DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Arlington Renegades @ Houston Roughnecks(-6.5) These 2 teams just met last week in Arlington, where the Renegades were fighting for their figurative playoff lives, while the Roughnecks had already secured 1st place, and enjoyed the luxury of resting their top talent. With Houston coming away with a relatively easy 16 point victory, it could be easy to say that the Divisional playoff will be a blowout for the Roughnecks. If history has taught us anything, it is to never count out the Underdog (aka Buster Douglas), but in this case @TheBrysh predicts a comfortable Houston win 31-18 to take the South Division crown.

NORTH DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP
Seattle Sea Dragons @ DC Defenders(-3) The only way to make the North Division Championship more fitting is if there were a tie-breaker between the 7-3 Sea Dragons and the 7-3 Battlehawks, winner meets the Defenders. Reality check, the Battlehawks got hosed, but the battle for the North will be a fantabulous matchup, deserving of XFL top honours. @TheBrysh expects to see a highflying offensive display from the Defenders and QB Jordan Ta’amu, but antagonized by their relatively weak defence. Match this against the XFL’s top QB Ben DiNucci and his Sea Dragons, plus the fact that they have overcome diversity and carry a big momentum, and you have the making of an UPSET 28-27 for the ‘Dragons.
