One key to making it in any sport is determination. Having the ability to get knocked down and get back up is what separates the call-ups from the couch riders. Jason Hall, the Fullback for the AAL’s Mississippi WolfPack is a great example of where determination can get you. On the field, he is a 5’8″, 235-pound downhill runner; off the field, he is a hardworking guy with growing reach as an influencer. Though you won’t understand his journey if you don’t know where he came from.

Before Arena Ball:
You’ll find that nothing has ever come easy for Jason Hall. He would attend Dothan High School, and by all accounts stand out. Despite the solid pre-college career the offers wouldn’t pour in as you would expect. Rather than hang it up he would head to Goodle Prep. Jason Hall made it very clear his time at Goodle was one of the most fun seasons of football he has ever played, even saying many of those teammates he is still close to today!
After his time at a prep school, he would take his talents to one of the most unique junior college programs in the country. The Juco? Well, Gordon State is an independent program that plays in the New South Athletic Conference. Once again he would have to push himself to get on the field, and once again he would be successful. The biggest question for him, with four actual years of eligibility left was what’s next?
Humble Beginnings:
This is where things take a drastic turn, instead of finding another college that fits his skill set he would bet on himself. After putting out his interest in arena ball the Tri-City RiverGators of the AAL2 would take him on. One thing most fans have little understanding of is the adjustment that it takes to go from eleven-man outdoor to eight-man indoor. Jason Hall admitted that it took a good bit to retrain his movements, mind, and play style to fit the game. This was evident early on in the season. Anyone who tuned into a RiverGators game could see the potential but it was up to Jason Hall and his coaching staff to unlock it.
As the season, and his fundamental understanding of lanes, rules, and techniques changed you could visibly see improvement. The biggest visual cue of his progress came in a mid-to-late-season game against his current team, Mississippi. The human wrecking ball would bully the Wolfpack defense, even scoring on his first touch. We will link the film below of the bolting cinder block darting 38 yards to the goal line.
Pro at Last?
As the Offseason wound on we saw a list of changes in the landscape of the game, none bigger than the 2026 American Arena League Reboot. In that reboot, Mississippi and Jersey would move up. The move-up prompted both to start signing the high-level talent they had played against all during the 2025 season. To literally no one’s surprise one of the first three players to be signed to the Wolfpack was Jason Hall.
His determination has once again brought him to another level, one he could only have dreamed of four years ago. What is even more impressive is the fact that he is only 22, meaning in the time it would have taken him to make it through college he has developed and signed a pro contract for 2026. Even outside of the arena game he has made strides, he gave us a little inside info on an upcoming showcase and workout that will see him in front of CFL and UFL scouts. We are confident that this may be just a short stint in what otherwise will be a long football career, indoors or outdoors.
Jason Hall Offseason and 2026 Goals
Jason Hall spends a good chunk of the offseason like you would expect an up-and-comer to. In the weight room, pushing himself. He emphasized that he had met or exceeded most of his offseason goals in that department! What you won’t see on a stat sheet though is the giving back. He was recently allowed to go back to Gordon State and talk to the current players. He took full advantage of this opportunity despite a strict offseason schedule including a full-time (non-football) job, and a growing presence as “Football Creator”.
As we dug deeper into the goals and aspirations it became clear that Jason Hall will always be the kind player that pushes for more, but at the same time appreciates where he is at. Even with the elevated talent he will be playing against this upcoming season he has plans to beat all of his personal bests from 2025. That leading into the possibility of moving up, which as stated before he would more than welcome. Goals don’t always include on-field performance, as his number one goal was to simply improve as a man, and in his faith.
Overall it has been a blast to track Jason and his journey to pro arena ball. He has been on our radar for quite some time, and watching a humble, hardworking athlete like him get his chance is absolutely amazing! If you’re into watching someone get their “Kurt Warner” moment, this is it! Be sure to go give him a follow on all socials, and catch a stream or two of the Mississippi Wolfpack!
